Check out his website. We look forward to his visit with us. Len Murray is widely recognised as one of the country's top after-dinner speakers. He has been variously described as: "hilarious", "incredibly funny", "brilliant", "highly entertaining", "superb", "great" and "side-splitting". He is vastly experienced in corporate and sporting events of all kinds and is a former winner of the prestigious Wag of the Year competition.

INAUGURAL ROBERT BURNS MEMORIAL LECTURE ON THEME OF "STATE OF THE WORLD AND BROTHERHOOD OF MAN" (January 13, 2004) The inaugural Robert Burns Memorial Lecture on the theme of the "State of the World and Brotherhood of Man" was delivered by Secretary-General Kofi Annan at a gala dinner in the Delegates Dining Room at UN Headquarters. The Secretary-General called for brotherhood, tolerance, and coexistence among all peoples in his lecture. The event was hosted by Emyr Jones Parry, Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom to the United Nations. The dinner also featured music from Scotland featuring Caledon, the popular three Scots tenors, and two of Scotland's Celtic musicians. Robert Burns was born in 1759 in Scotland and lived for 37 years, but in that short time he left a legacy of literature and song. One of his most famous songs is "Auld Lang Syne". Photos.
