Founded in 1960 by the late S. Dan Brodie, the American Navion Society has grown into one of the longest running, most supportive
type club in the western hemisphere. Originally intended as a means of sharing operational and technical information, the Navion
Society, or Navioneers as they affectionately call themselves, expanded into the sales and distribution of parts decades ago. To
foster friendships within the Society, an annual convention is held in a roving location and includes a banquet, sight seeing
excursions and flying contests for speed and proficiency.
These Twin Navions have been awarded the covetted "Flagship of the Year" award at the annual convention.
Membership is a valuable tool, as the newsletter contains valuable information on the care and maintenance of an aircraft that's now 50 years old.
Your best chance to find any model of Navion for sale is through the Navioneers' classified ads.
Check them out if you're in the market for a Navion.
The following Twin Navions have been "Navions of the Month." These planes appear as the focus article in the monthly ANS newsletter, based on the quality and content of the photos and article that are submitted. Being a Navion of the month is not a statement on the quality or condition of the plane itself.
If any Navioneers can supply the month and year that these planes were Navions of the month, we'd be very appreciative.
