  • Prior to February 1954 N22Y had been N91793, s/n NAV-4-532, which C.J. Daubenberger turned into the first Twin Navion, and which Riley Aircraft used to prototype the 150hp Lycoming O-320 engine installation.

  • March 1954 - gross weight increased to 3,350lbs, installation of a 20 US-gallon auxiliary fuel tank, and replacement of the experimental 150hp Lycoming O-320 engines with certified engines.
