- April 30, 1967 - While in cruise over Hassell, NC, the left hand propeller blade lost the last six inches of its tip. To reduce vibrations, the right hand engine was shut down and an emergency landing was carried out. On landing, the landing gear collapsed. (NTSB Report DIA67F0098)
